My VST plug-in does appear in my host application

Please make sure that the location where the plug-in was installed is properly listed in your host application, especially on Windows.

Also, please make sure that you have not mixed VST and VST3 plug-ins locations, as they are usually different.

On Windows, please make sure that you have installed the 64-bit version if your host application is a 64-bit application, and the 32-bit version if the host is a 32-bit application.
