On a surround track, how can I make sure hosted plug-ins get the audio channels in the right order?

Default surround channels layout may differ between plug-ins formats (AAX, VST, Audio Unit...), and PatchWork does not implement an automatic way to translate it yet for hosted plug-ins.

You can however change the order of channels manually: click on the surround plug-in loaded inside PatchWork and select "Audio I/O". If you select the number of I/O you can then choose which channel goes to which plug-in pin:

This should let you send the audio channels in the right order for the plug-in.
