How to Send/Receive MIDI with Connector?
While there is no such thing as a MIDI plug-in in most DAWs (except for Logic), you can actually route MIDI events thru plug-ins in most of them.
To send MIDI thru Connector, you simply need to insert Connector on an audio track and create an extra MIDI track. Then select Connector as the MIDI output of the track to route MIDI events to Connector.
Similarly, if you want to use the MIDI events received by Connector in your DAW, create a MIDI track and select Connector (previously inserted as an audio plugin on an audio track) as MIDI input of the track.
In order for the events to flow in real time, you will also need to activate "input monitoring" for both the extra MIDI track and the audio track where Connector has been inserted.
