On Mac, SoundToys plug-ins are indeed known to cause CPU overload when used as Audio Units (AU) inside PatchWork, Axiom, Late Replies or the MB-7 Mixer.

The VST versions of these plug-ins do not have this problem, so it is recommended to use the SoundToys VST plug-ins instead.
