Blue Cat Audio Releases Blue Cat's Plug'n Script 3.34 Audio and MIDI Scripting Plug-In Update

Paris, France, 2024/05/14: Blue Cat Audio ( http://www.bluecataudio.com ) has released a free update for Blue Cat's Plug'n Script, its audio and MIDI scripting software that can be programmed to create your own effects or virtual instruments inside most Digital Audio Workstations (DAW).
After a couple of previews published in the past year, the long-awaited official update for Plug'n Script is finally here, with an updated and more performant scripting engine, a new version of the user interface programming language with many new features and enhancements, the ability to use any number of parameters, and many other improvements and fixes (full details below). This new version makes the creation of audio and MIDI plug-ins easier and gives more power to advanced plug-in developers.
The Blue Cat Audio blog (https://www.bluecataudio.com/Blog/) has also been updated with many tutorials and videos to help getting started with the creation of audio and MIDI plug-ins.
The update is free for registered V3 customers and can be downloaded from the same location as the original full version (link received by email upon purchase). Demo versions are available for downloaded on www.bluecataudio.com for Mac and PC.
What's New in Blue Cat's Plug'n Script 3.34:
- Extended user interface programming capabilities with KUIML 2.7.4 support (User Interface programming language). Details here: https://www.bluecataudio.com/Vault/Skins/KUIML/versions.html
- Scripting engine update, with improved performance.
- Unlimited parameters: for plug-ins developers, you can now configure the number of i/o params and strings via a configuration file.
- Offline processing status (non-realtime rendering) is now available from the processBlock function.
- AAX plug-in now reports the recording status (in recent versions of Pro Tools that support it).
- Fixed missing floatToString,intToString and uIntToString functions for dsp scripts on Apple M1.
- AAX Atmos format is now available for exported plug-ins too.
- Graphical user interface refresh performance improvements.
- Improved resampling when the application starts streaming audio as a network server with Connector.
- Fixed a couple of issues with undo/redo.
- Ableton Live 11: Fixed VST3 MIDI input not detected.
- Fixed drag and drop that did not work within a 2 pixels margin at the border of drag source widgets.
- Fixed file drag and drop issues on Mac when using system::filepath applicative type.
- Mac: Fixed negative values not properly sent to DSP when entering them in text box after double clicking on a knob.
