In this video Leon Todd shows you how he uses Blue Cat’s PatchWork to load multiple guitar VST plug-ins inside Pro Tools.
As you know, Pro Tools can only load AAX plug-ins, but with PatchWork you can load any third party VST or Audio Unit plug-in. It also lets you create your own plug-ins chains and expands Pro Tools‘ limited number of plug-ins on a strip. This is particularly useful with guitar plug-ins, as you may want to use separate plug-ins for your effects, amp simulations and cabinets simulations (unless you are using a universal guitar solution like our Axiom plug-in).
