Did you now that thanks to the unique MIDI and automation output features of the DP Meter Pro plug-in, you can move the faders of a control surface automatically, based on audio levels measured in real time? Here is an example with a Pro Tools session and an AVID Artist controller!
This short videos shows an Avid Artist Mix Controller displaying the levels of a track (peak, RMS) using the Blue Cat’s DP Meter Pro plug-in. Using the “Flip” feature of the Artist Mix, audio levels can even drive the sliders. Be careful not to damage them with too fast attacks though!
