The NAMM Show is always a great experience, and a good opportunity for us to meet our partners and many of you, as well as kkep connected with what is happening around us in the pro audio world. No surprise some are calling this show the “Disneyland for musicians”, because that’s what it it is, and it’s located right next to the park!
You have probably already seen lots of reports and announcements about the show, so we just wanted to share a few anecdotes and news here.
We hope you have had the chance to see our plug-ins in action on the Music Marketing booth who is now representing us in the US. If you have missed them, you may want to watch our latest demo videos released during the show by Streamworks Audio on our Youtube channel!
Regarding distribution, the NAMM show was also the opportunity for us to announce that our plug-ins are now available at Guitar Center and Musician’s Friend: if you live in the US, there must be a store with our plug-ins nearby!
While visiting our friends at AVID, we had the opportunity to verify that our plug-ins work very well with their latest S6 console: playing with our plug-ins on the show with a huge S6 setup was a lot of fun!
Also, in case you had any doubt, thanks to Blue Cat’s PatchWork‘s new parameters mapping feature, you can control sub-plug-ins parameters with the S6 with just a click on the desired knob. It behaves as if the VST plug-ins hosted in our virtual patchbay had been directly inserted into the Pro Tools session. Simple and efficient!
While walking around on the show, we had the surprise to see the PatchWork plug-in running on another plug-in vendor’s booth: it allowed them to load plug-ins routings quickly for their demos. Nice, isn’t it?
The 2014 edition was really great, and if it has kept us busy for almost an entire month, we are now back to work to deliver new plug-ins and a couple of long-awaited updates… Keep connected!
