In today’s tutorial, Dan-D shows how to setup a side chain EQ for the bass kick, using Blue Cat’s Dynamics and Blue Cat’s Liny EQ 5 in Pro Tools. You can of course use the same technique in any other DAW.
This tutorial uses the unique MIDI side chain capabilities of the Dynamics plug-in that let you use any other plug-in to do the processing according to the dynamics of the incoming signal.
